Your 70s Guide to Dating

My mother is giving me “advice” on dating. Apparently, she thought the term “boyfriend” meant potential fiancee. I suppose it is when you’re uh… 30? She said I shouldn’t settle down on one person; rather, I should sift through them, as if I were flipping through a catalog. Her words, not mine. I can’t tell if my mother wants me to date several men at once or not at all. Weird.
